I want to thank Marianna and the rest of the agency staff for making my trip so successful. When I arrived in Ukraine Vadim and Vitaliy met me at the airport and from the moment we met it was like seeing old friends again. When we arrived in Chernovtsy they dropped me at the B&B and I got settled.
They picked me up each day at 11:00 AM sharp so we could do whatever I wanted. The decisions were always mine to make although they did make several very good suggestions, it is their city after all.
I met Julia on Sunday morning and we hit it off right away. I also met a few other girls but I never even considered asking any of the others even to lunch. I just wanted to be with her. She is like a breath of fresh air compared to American woman. She was loving and kind and always considerate of what I wanted. We spent as much time as we could together. She is the most wonderful woman I have met in a very long time and I think we will be happy together.
Vitaliy the interpreter was invaluable. Along with Vadim they made my stay as trouble free as was humanly possible. When I was ready to propose he made me a cheat sheet so I could do it in Russian, which she liked and I would recommend, and also taught me a few words. Of course her English is already much better than my Russian.
The restaurants of the city are also great, the food and service is very good. The prices even for 3 or 4 people are very reasonable. They compare to what we would pay for 2 people in an American restaurant but you wouldn't get the service or atmosphere.
