What a wonderful time.  Not some sterile tourist type environment but real life and just like here.   I went to Chernovtsy by way of Chicago, Warsaw, Lviv and a 4 hr road trip to Chernovtsy.

Like all the men before me I was dissatisfied with the overall narcissistic attitude of single American women.  I was looking for a change of choices and found it with Marianna's agency in Chernovtsy.  At a suggestion of a friend and some unusual coincidences I found my myself communicating with a lady from Russia.  Reason hit me and I decided that if I was serious about this, I should do some research to make sure I did not get burned and to determine what the pitfalls of trying to develop a meaningful overseas relationship would be.  I read some books and decided the best approach would be to go through an agency.  In reading about many agencies and the process each followed to make what to me was a highly speculative and risky process work, I came to the conclusion that Marianna's Agency and the process they followed was the most likely to provide a successful outcome.  However, no matter what the process I was hesitant.  Hesitant to allow myself to fully believe that I could pick 12 ladies from a web site, communicate with 6 with emails for a few months, go to the Ukraine and in less than a week find someone that I would feel close enough to as to fall in love with and ask her to marry me.    BUT, that is exactly what happened. Believe it, call it magic or the process or fate.  I am still as surprised as anyone that I am engaged to a beautiful lady (Natalia) from the Ukraine.   We don't even speak the same language but somehow we managed to communicate the stuff necessary for me to know that Natalia and I were perfect together and since she agreed to marry me I guess she knows also.  I went to the Ukraine not knowing which, if any, of the ladies I had been writing to that I might click with.  I had made up my mind after reading al the testimonials, that the trip could be completely worth the money even if I did not get engaged.  So on Sunday I went to the office to begin what would be the most important interview process that I have ever attempted.  As everyone says, the ladies were all lovely, polite and friendly.  They were just as nervous as I was if not more.  After all day I felt that I connected well with Natalia,  I did  spend time with one other lady at first just to be sure but very early on I realized that there was a special connection with Natalia and I spent all the rest of my time with her and the interpreter (Sasha).  By the third day I was confident that Natalia was who I wish to make my future with so I Ask her to marry me to which she replied da.  I attempted to ask her in Ukrainian but must have messed up something because Natalia, conferred with Sasha before saying yes.  I don't know if anyone will have the same experience as mine.  I know that I am so happy to have met Natalia because I do not feel I could not have ask anyone but her to marry me. 

The experience was wonderful, I got to experience real people, real life in another part of the world.  Just as they are living life not a place painted with the brush of tourism.  The people were warm, fun and friendly. I spent a lot of time with Vadim , Sveta and Sasha, all were great fun, helpful and made my experience perfect.  Be prepared for the absolute best food you have ever eaten.  I have eaten in some of the finest restaurants in America and none was finer than all the restaurants in Chernovtsy.  I suggest you just have your interpreter order for you the same things they get.  The food experience is outstanding.  Tanya fixed me a great breakfast each morning and would get upset when I would clean my own plate.  The roads are rough and the taxi's wild and it all was great fun.  Chernovtsy is a beautiful city with class, culture and charm.  People walk everywhere there are hundreds out walking all over town.  It was hard for me to believe that there were only 200,000 people in the town.  It is no wander why the people are in great shape but there is no explanation as to why the women are so beautiful or why there are so many.  Don't worry about going, just have fun and let go and who knows what will happen to you.
