Ukrainian ladies like?
Ukrainian ladies are traditional, very feminine, affectionate, beautiful
eyes, family oriented. They come from different walks of life - secretaries,
students, doctors, teachers... But they share the same values and have
similar attitudes towards men. They have an inner peace about them that
makes you feel relaxed in their presence. They are pleasers, not competitors.
They expect their man to be the head of the family. They are warm, sensitive,
loving and devoted. They are sweet and soft spoken. They look for what’s
positive in a man and not what’s negative. They do not care much about
your looks or possessions. Your personal qualities of sensitivity, trust
and understanding make you special in their eyes. They are not “just trying
to get to the USA". They are trying to find a responsible life-mate -
very difficult in Eastern European society. They realize that if they
marry a North American man they will have to relocate, but they would
be just as happy if you lived in their country. They know that they can’t
find nicer guys than those living in North America. They know that you
make better husbands than Ukrainian men. Even if you are not rich, you are
still very secure to these ladies. And that’s what they are looking for
- more security, more stability with a man they can fall in love and devote
themselves to.

What language
do they speak?
Most of the ladies on our website were selected so that they speak
and write some English. Many people speak English in Eastern Europe now. Most
people had 6 years of English in schools and 2-5 years of English in colleges.
Many are secretaries for whom knowledge of English is required. They listen
to American music or TV. But even if the lady does not speak English - she
can learn quickly. One old rule is “It’s a lot easier for an Eastern European
lady to learn English than it is for an American woman to learn to be
a good wife”. They learn English quickly and can communicate on the phone
with in a month. The majority do speak (at least some) English.
Also, when a woman states that she speaks “a little English” or something
similar, this normally means that she can read or write a letter and hold
a basic conversation, but has a lot of difficulty with proper grammar.

Is this
real? Does it really work?
Yes, it is real, and it does really work well. After three years, we get

Why are
some of the photos poor quality?
Don’t be fooled by a bad photo. We have no control over the photos
submitted to us. Some of the most beautiful women on our website don’t have the
best photographs. Please remember that to take a photo and develop it
take up a day’s pay in many areas. We often get applications with notes
stating something similar to “Please use photo I have attached. Tell your
clients if they are really interested I will send better pictures.” Look
for more than just the best photos. There’s gold in them there hills.

Once I
meet someone, how do I get here?
The process in a nutshell is this: First you must go meet her in person.
This is a requirement of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service
(INS). You must then return to the USA and file a visa application with
the INS for her to gain entry into the USA. The type of visa most often
used is a fiancée visa. Once she enters United States this visa is good for
90 days which is designed
for you to determine whether or not you actually want to get married to
the women. If you get married to her, she becomes a conditional permanent
resident for two years, you must furnish evidence to the INS that the
marriage is successful and valid. At that time she can become a full
permanent resident.

Should
I write to a lot of women?
Our competition says that it is a good idea to write to 15 to 20 women.
This is not true. You might think that you can accurately pick
out 3-4 women from the photos on our website. However there is so much
more to a woman than a small photo. From experience, I can tell you that
if you prioritize your top 20 choices and write to all of them (and receive
replies from all), every one of your priorities will change. #1 may become
#20 and vice versa.

How many
men are writing to these women?
We get a lot of questions, but those most often asked is "Will I
be one of hundreds writing to one woman?” The answer to this is a simple
NO. There are about 8000 men in our client database, as opposed
to as much as 50,000 or even 100,000 men in other services. So, in some
cases, you may be the ONLY one writing to a particular woman. We
also do not advertise in newspapers for our women or accept packages from foreign
marriage agencies, as we find that these applicants often show up in many
different magazines.

Why should
I use you, instead of a cheaper service?
Marianna’s Marriage Agency goes to great length to ensure that we
introduce you to the very best quality women in the world. We employ our
own staff in the country that we represent. These are the people that get the
women to appear on our website. Other companies simply run ads in newspapers
for women. The women who appear on out website, however are required
to meet with our managers, complete an application, have a photo review,
and sign a sworn statement as to the validity of their biographical information
and their intentions. This process costs us a lot of money, but it is
worth it. We usually know her family!

How do
I know the marriage will last?
The divorce rate in the U.S. for “domestic” marriages is now over 60%
and even higher for second marriages. This means that you have a better
chance of opening a successful new restaurant in Manhattan than you do
in choosing a permanent domestic partner for marriage. On the other hand,
the divorce rate for international marriages is negligible. As to why,
read the bios of these women. These women are more interested in the “inner
man”, not what’s in your wallet or garage. You simply will not find this
kind of talk in singles bars.

How important
is the first letter?
Your first letter is your most important. As Will Rogers used to say,
“you don't get a second chance for a good first impression”. First and foremost,
always send a clear photograph of yourself in each letter. Secondly,
give her something to work with. Make your first letter 3 pages or longer
if you can. Finally, DON’T send a letter with the girl’s name penciled in.
They will think about as much of that as you would. It is also recommended
that you do not offer to send her cash.

You mean
I can't just "buy" a wife?
These pages are filled with beautiful women who want to meet and marry
