My journey to find a new mate began a little differently than most. My son writes novels and the main theme is about con men. He was stuck for a new lead and so I began to research the “mail order bride” industry knowing there would be opportunity for exploitation, which would lend itself for some to have their money taken from them no matter how savvy an individual may think they are. I was separated from my now ex-wife and had a little time on my hands. I found many pitfalls that someone searching for a mate could encounter. Suffice it to say I can name many services and even individuals who are involved in these dishonest endeavors. I also found some legitimate organizations and this is how I became involved with Marianna’s agency.

         I had nothing to lose except $78, which I sent in with 10 choices I had made after going through the list and finding those women with whom I thought I was attracted.  There were 2 or 3 that I found especially appealing so when I got my list of 6 back from Marianna I was happy that 2 of the 3 were still on it. I wrote my intro letter and began to correspond with them and after receiving letters back from them all there were 5 of the 6 that were interested in writing. Slowly, after a couple letters two of the women began to emerge as those most compatible with what I was looking for. I still wrote all 5 because it is too easy to miss the right person with only a couple letters but I still couldn’t believe I had gone from researching to actually being a client. One more got added to my list later on. Cecil and Marianna were great giving me guidance as how to succeed by letting me know what differences there were culturally and how not to put my foot in my mouth.

           The women were gracious, polite, and like women everywhere, each had their own distinct personality. You could tell some were quiet and would be happier at home and some were more social. All seemed sincere about marriage and the possibility of moving to the United States or wherever their future husband hails from. Let me dispel a myth and save you some angst. None that I wrote to or met were either desperate to marry an American nor were they gold diggers so if you go in with a preconceived notion you will be disappointed. If you are looking for someone to be your life partner then you are started on the right path. This agency is as good as it gets. I have researched this subject to death, but most importantly, I have found someone who is wonderful and fulfills my notion of what would make a perfect partner for me. Yes, she is beautiful as was everyone I met. They all were better looking in person, as their pictures were unable to capture how they looked. For example, my fiancé looked 10 or 15 lbs heavier in her pictures. This was true with the pictures I took. When she walked into the room and I saw her for the first time I gasped at how beautiful she was in person. I had to suppress a smile. That’s not even the good part. She is a wonderful person and we hit it off better than I could have imagined and I haven’t laughed so much in a long time.

         Sveta is one of the managers and a caring person who is in charge of taking care of the women and is the one who knows if they are interested in you. As the interviews were proceeding she kept asking me who my 2^nd choice was and I kept telling her it was Zoia who was also my first choice. She resigned herself to the fact that I was smitten and so she arranged for Zoia and I to began the courting process by going for a walk with the translator. We hit it off immediately but I would have been surprised if we didn’t because we had learned so much about each from writing. There were 2 or 3 that I felt were possible matches but once we started dating it was obvious that I had found the one I was looking for and now it was up to me to help her come to the same conclusion. Everyone helps you with this process and by the 3^rd day I knew after months of writing and traveling all that distance I had found the one person that was right for me and so I proposed and now I am home writing this testimonial, she is taking English lessons, and the agency is working on getting her here to me. I can’t say enough about how everyone helped me through the process. You will not get this type of service anywhere else and I should know.

         The trip was great even if I hadn’t found the woman of my dreams. The city is almost 600 years old so it was fun to go around and see the sights and take walks, which everyone there does especially in the evening. I have to admit I was too interested in Zoia to be much interested in anything else so when I go back I will spend a little more time taking in the sights. My goal was to find someone I could be happy with and I achieved it. As the process unfolded I knew it was for real and by the time I arrived I was confident that the outcome was as assured as anyone could make it. All I can say is if you don’t do it you will be exactly where you are right now. I have sat in front of my computer as you are doing now wondering if this would be right for me and what possible chance for success do I have. All of my nay Sayers are surprisingly quiet. If you are worried about the cost all I can say is I spent more on one vacation with my EX girlfriend. With her I got some nice souvenirs. This trip to the Ukraine I got an incredible wife. You do the math. I am neither gullible nor naïve. Marianna’s will give you as close to a sure thing as it is going to get. Remember, a brave man dies but once, a coward a thousand times.
