Reading the newsletter every week, you ought to know that you can go to Chernovtsy, and meet the love of your life. Follow the Agency's procedures, beginning with the "Introduction Special," and soon enough, you'll find yourself on the other side of the world, having the time of your life. I am the sort of traveler who prefers to travel light, with just an old German Army backpack. Inside you'd find clothes for the week, the essentials, my old Nikon 35mm camera and a simple flash camera. I prefer not to check any bags, and I never have to worry about lost baggage. While I have been to Europe many times, my assorted destinations have never included Ukraine, and despite the number of stamps in my passport, I had no idea of what Ukraine was like, nor would I truly know what a wonderful place it is, until I arrived. For me, it was a comfortable place, where I immediately felt at home! Yes, there is a whole world out there, beyond the realm of Corn-Flakes or Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast. You will discover a lot of things about life in Ukraine are as they should be. The Tomatoes you enjoy in Ukraine are not genetic-tinkertoy sulphur-dioxide gassed masterpieces of "Modern Agriculture" that you find here in the USA, rather they are as Tomatoes should be. Non-hybrid, vine ripened, and tasty. Dinners at the restaurants are prepared with great care and creativity, the food was delicious! No...... that isn't enough reason to go to Ukraine? Need more reasons? Okay, think about it this way: With your world of Macaroni and Cheese with Weiner Winks behind, you may find yourself sitting in the Agency's office in Chernovtsy, enjoying green tea or coffee, chocolates, and talking with the staff as the girls come to pick up their letters. You will have the opportunity to interview all of the girls you wrote letters to, and of course, they are more beautiful than you imagined. For me, it wasn't very difficult to make my selection of a favorite, I had already decided that I was traveling around the world for Irina. We met at a restaurant the very evening I arrived in Chernovtsy, and it was as if a dream came to life! Over the following days, we spent as much time together as possible. Visiting the architecture museum, going to see a movie, enjoying walks on the streets of the city, enjoying the restaurants, riding in the taxi, holding hands. We went outside of the city, to a pleasant restaurant next to a lake, where the reflections of the fall colors played upon the waters. It was a very beautiful place. They were days that I wished would never end. We are very comfortable together, and it felt as if we had known each other forever, but had been separated by the ocean and life. Words cannot describe the joy we share! We love each other very much, and our time in Chernovtsy was precious! Saying goodbye to Irina wasn't easy, I didn't want to say goodbye. I wish the world was different, a simple place, where I could have just brought her home with me. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. Now I am working on bringing her to the USA, and have been on bit of a scavenger hunt, finding the supporting documents we will need; and then there are a few forms to file. Not to worry, Cecil and Marianna are there to help with everything, and very soon everything will be working at the speed of government........ I am looking forward to Irina's arrival here in the USA, from that day forward, we will be together again, and that will be paradise! I have continued to write her letters, and Irina is taking English lessons so that her transition to life here will be easier for the both of us. The most difficult things now are being away from her, and waiting for her arrival. What are you waiting for? Sure, to get to Chernovtsy you will have to travel past the place where the sea boils, and dragons walk the earth. Certainly a quest of epic proportions, but in Chernovtsy, you may find the love of your life and your own paradise. Risk? Yes, I suppose you could fall into the boiling waters of the ocean, or be eaten alive by a dragon...... Love..... it is worth the risk, isn't it? Write your letters, meet the women, fall in love, and one day it might be your testimonial on this page. Clayton
